During your stay in Schinoussa you have many options to fill in your days and nights until early morning. In the main village there are many nice taverns, a pizza restaurant and a few bars and  traditional cafe's. Apart from the town there are nice taverns and restaurants at the Port, Messaria Village, Tsigouri beach, Livadi, Lioliou and almyros.​​

   On the island there are often celebrations with traditional music and a lot of dancing! The most popular celebration is the that of the Virgin Mary on August 15 where food is offered in the morning in the church hall and in the night some taverns have live traditional music where people dance until late!

   The cruise boat ''Aeolia'' (link) performs daily cruises to nearby islands (Iraklia, Koufonisia, Keros) and around the island, where you can visit most of the island's beaches. If you like free-diving you can also dive in a shipwreck near Schinoussa.

   If you are a nature lover you can also walk all over the island or if you enjoy sports you can try a sea kayak tour (link) or visit the climbing center (link) in Tsingouri beach, in a totally natural setting right near the sea! The island is also ideal for swimmers, free-divers and snorkelers.
